Skills for the Future 2018-2030

The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) is conducting a new skills needs assessment called ‘Skills for the Future’.

The LLEP has commissioned York Consulting to carry out a 2018-2030 skills needs assessment, which will examine the changing patterns of employment and sectors across the LLEP area, and gather feedback from local employers and recruitment agencies on future skills needs.

This new research will help to inform our Local Industrial Strategy, T Level provision and Careers provision. In addition, the information will be used for planning purposes by Further Education establishments, Skills Providers and new Skills Advisory Boards, referenced in both the Industrial and Careers Strategies, as well as informing future labour market resources.
