The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) is conducting a new skills needs assessment called, Skills for the Future.
Probably the biggest single issue currently for sustainability as well as growth, is the skills needed now and moving forward across the range of businesses in the local area.
Therefore, it’s critically important that the skills needed to deliver the current and future investments across the county are met by the providers of skills at all levels. Now is the time to act to make sure businesses in Leicester and Leicestershire have their say in the plans that are being developed.
Through our ESF Technical Assistance project, the LLEP has commissioned York Consulting to carry out important research including a workshop for businesses to express their ideas and concerns which will contribute towards the skills plan for Leicester and Leicestershire. This workshop takes place on Wednesday 29th June, 10:00am to 12.30pm at Loughborough University, https://employerworkshop5.eventbrite.co.uk.
Unfortunately, due to lack of attendance, other workshops have been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience but hope to see you at the event on the 29th.
