Harborough Grow-on Centre creates virtual official opening

The event to celebrate the official opening of the Harborough Grow-on Centre (HGC), which offers flexible office space to thriving businesses, was unable to take place in May 2020.

Despite the challenges of coronavirus, there are strong signs of economic regrowth in Harborough district. HGC has recently welcomed the first new tenant, Krypton IT Solutions, and with thanks to Harborough Artists Cluster, there are unique artworks displayed on internal walls throughout the building.

Harborough Grow-on Centre has been built to high environmental standards (rated BREEAM Excellent) by Harborough District Council, who provided £3,620,612 to fund the project, with £3,282,500 of the funding coming from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and £987,833 from the Business Rates Pool fund managed by the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP).

HGC has produced a video to provide a virtual show round and celebrate the new opportunities for businesses looking for flexible office space, or satellite premises.
