Skills for the Future Study 2016


The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) has conducted a new skills needs assessment called ‘Skills for the Future’.

Probably the biggest single issue facing employers for sustainability currently, as well as growth, are the skills needed now and moving forward, across the range of businesses in the local area.

Therefore, it is critically important that the skills needed to deliver the current and future investments across the city and county are met by the providers of skills at all levels. Through our ESF Technical Assistance project, the LLEP has commissioned York Consulting to carry out a 2016 skills needs assessment, which has examined data on the changing patterns of employment within the LLEP area, and gathered feedback from local employers on future skills needs.
