There are a number of Leicester and Leicestershire groups that meet to support careers guidance, share good practice, raising aspirations and employability, that schools, colleges and employers are encouraged to link in with, please contact the lead specified below:
The CEIAG Hub is designed as a networking and training facility for careers advisers and teachers of careers education in schools and colleges in the city. Aside from the termly meetings, the Hub also engages in Action Research, and in this year has been involved in research on engaging young people in Apprenticeships, troubleshooting issues related to UCAS progress, and mapping of best practice in Careers Education in schools and colleges. There is a county-North Charnwood Learning Partnership; a careers and guidance network, who exchange ideas and updates, share good practice, and have guest speakers. This group meets every 2/3 months and is chaired by Amanda Hearne (Amanda.firstname.lastname@example.org) (10 schools).
There is a Leicestershire Cares Post 16 Employability Group (led by Gail Brown), who meet termly and focus on sharing good practice related to employability and young people (predominantly city). Contact Gail Brown email@example.com

The new Careers and Enterprise Enterprise Adviser Network meeting are in development, which will share good practice and offer the chance to network. The contact is Abdul Bathin, more information to follow.
There is a South Leicestershire Schools working partnership, awaiting more detail on this.
There is a East Midlands Chamber schools forum-led by the EM Chamber, this meets bi-monthly, to support business-education links. A Chamber-LLEP schools network is due to be set up in the LLEP area in 2017, more information to follow. The contact is Ian Bates Ian.Bates@emc-dnl.co.uk
