Funding Available for SME’s from Projects awarded ERDF

LLEP have currently allocated just over £21 Million which is now working to support growth

A Short summary of the Funding available is as follows:

Growing Enterprise – a project to support new businesses and smaller growing businesses with advice and support and funding of small grants where jobs are created.  PA 3 (NBV Solutions Limited)

Collaborate For Growth- a project to support SME’s in our 8 Priority Growth Sectors: Logistics and Distribution, Professional Business Services, Tourism & Hospitality, Low Carbon,  Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Textiles, Creative Industries, Food & Drink.  In the first four of these sectors there will be a programme of exciting networking events in the latter there are more detailed business support activities including financial assistance for job creation.  The project also supports complimentary inward investment activity from non EU countries.

PA 3(Leicester City Council, Leicester County Council and EMC)

PACE –  A further project of growth and enterprise support for SMEs in our priority sectors with grants to support companies who invest in activities which raise productivity and competitiveness.

PA 3 (Loughborough University}

Midlands Engine Investment Fund- A mixture of loans, equity and mezzanine funding for larger investments across the whole East and West Midlands.

PA 3 (British Business Bank)

Leicester Innovation Accelerator and Hub- A support project for companies who are researching and developing innovative products and processes allowing them to access vouchers for support from technical and academic experts.  The Project also creates innovation business space to rent on the University campus.

PA1 (University of Leicester)

SOLSTICE-   Innovation support to businesses already in, or transitioning into the Life Sciences sector including advisory support, signposting and grant funding as well as opportunities to attend Special Interest Groups to network with other businesses, health agencies and academics in the sector.

PA 1 (Med-Link EM)

SING-   A project based on Loughborough University’s I-Net model to support businesses with the innovation process.  Can provide grant funding and vouchers to help companies introduce new products and processes.

PA1 (Loughborough University i-net)

Green BELLE- A project to help companies invest in energy saving equipment and processes including a diagnostic service and grants of up to £10,000.

 

PA 4 (Leicester Energy Agency)

Digital Growth Programme- A project to help companies invest in new ICT equipment, web development and software and to learn about a whole range of e-commerce and e- marketing techniques and to plan for future e-commerce developments

PA 2 (East Midlands Chamber)

Future Funding

A further £12m worth of funding for new projects are currently being assessed with projects expected to go live in Autumn 2017.  These will concentrate on creating Business Grow on Space, Space related technologies, Cloud based computing solutions and further grant support.
