Life Sciences Sector
The LLEP is offering local businesses a chance to have their say on shaping the economic future of the region.
By sharing their views to identify the key challenges, opportunities and priorities for Leicester and Leicestershire, businesses can assist the LLEP to develop a new Local Industrial Strategy that sets out the asks to government for invest across the city and county.
The LLEP Board has agreed a FRAMEWORK for a Local Industrial Strategy and will be holding a series of five round table discussions during week commencing 14 May 2018
Businesses in the Life Sciences sector have this chance to tell the LLEP about the challenges and opportunities within the sector and how the government should provide support in relation to:
- Business growth and scale up
- Environmental issues
- Overseas markets
- Technology including artificial intelligence and digital data
- Infrastructure (new roads and transport links)
The aim of these round table discussions is to ensure that local industry leads the development of our strategy and if we are successful in lobbying Government this could result in more devolved powers and funding to support our local economy and key sectors.
You can book to attend this important round table discussion event, view the other dates and find out more about the Local Industrial Strategy at https://www.llep.org.uk/strategies-and-plans/industrial-strategy/
