The first Midlands UK Forum for Growth will take place 24-26 November 2020. It is the official investment coference for the Midlands. This economic growth conference is led by England’s leading pan-regional partnership, the Midlands Engine, and brings together more than 150 public and private sector organisations from across the Midlands, the UK and overseas. The over-arching aim is to achieve the region’s vision for greater sustainable growth and economic prosperity.
The event will take place online, with sessions running from 9.30am – 1.15pm each day.
Keynote addresses from public and private sector leaders include:
- Sir John Peace, Chairman, Midlands Engine
- Andy Street CBE, Mayor of the West Midlands
The Conference has three key themes:
Day One: Growth – Delivering sustainable and good growth
Day Two: Collaboration – The opportunities for better public and private collaboration
Day Three: The Future – Priorities for the future and building on success
Each day there will be a series of major investment presentations from destination partners and local authorities about key opportunities in their geography, and panel discussions about delivering good growth on topics such as:

- Commonwealth Games
- Housing and Communities
- Skills & Education
- Leicester Space Park
- Repurposing High Streets
- Cutting Edge Technology
- Future Leaders
