Taking place this September, the TRAKO 12th International Railway Fair is the second largest rail show in Europe with more than 15,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors in 20,000m2 of exhibition space. The exhibition brings together all elements of the rail industry from passenger rail, light rail and freight, as well as infrastructure with industry attendance and participation from across the board.

The Department for International Trade is looking to lead a market visit to this year’s TRAKO event, with a bespoke programme designed to turn your export aspirations into a reality.

During the visit you can expect to:
• Visit an operator and see first hand how your offer may sit in this rail market • Participate in a programme of seminars by key Polish rail organisations • Benefit from an Exhibition stand in the UK Pavilion and feature in a Mission Brochure showcasing your strengths • Meet with Commercial Officers from the wider CEE region to discuss market entry and opportunities for you • Explore and have an insight into the 2nd largest rail trade show in Europe • Research market trends and competition from both the Poland and wider CEE rail markets • Network amongst buyers, press and exhibitors to establish new contacts • Participate in the conference programme available during Trako to increase market knowledge and awareness • Attend a network session with potential partners, collaborators and distributors Please note that this is an indication of the type of activity you can expect to achieve during your time in market.
