Taste Harborough, the local food and drink brand launched earlier this year, is holding its first ever business support event specifically for local businesses in the food and drink sector.
The event will provide vital information about legislation changes affecting the sector and support businesses with ways to engage new markets.
Speakers at the event include:
• Leanne Foy, Trading Standards Officer at Leicestershire County Council on changes to nutritional labelling requirements
• Steven Mather, partner at Josiah Hincks on changes to data protection legislation
• Raksha Mistry, local manager at the Soil Association’s Food for Life programme on how food and drink businesses can engage with schools to open up new markets for their products
• Ivan Sheldrake, a director of Taste Harborough on the benefits of becoming a member of Taste Harborough.
The event is free for Taste Harborough members and costs £30 for non-members.
