Working with Pioneer 10 Harborough, The British Business Bank we are holding a briefing event to raise awareness of the new £250m Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) and provide businesses looking to apply with additional finance and funding support.

The Fund will provide debt and equity finance from £25,000 up to £2m for growing small businesses across the Midlands.

This event will brief business advisers and small businesses on the new funding opportunities available and how businesses can access the funds.

The Midlands Engine Investment Fund, which has been established in conjunction with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the UK Government will provide small and medium-sized businesses with increased flexibility in the types of funding available, as well as boosting investment levels in the Midlands.

Whether you are looking to start-up, scale-up or stay ahead – this event will help to point advisers and businesses in the right direction.

This in-depth session will cover:

  • Background to the Bank, MEIF, funding landscape and barriers to finance
  • Business planning and debt funding
  • Raising finance and pitching
  • Q & A Panel

As well as this we will also be providing 15 minute 1-to-1 sessions for any businesses wanting to know more about how the British Business Bank and Midlands Engine Investment Fund can assist them. Please note that these sessions are by appointment only so please be sure to request this on your registration form.
