Better Business for All provides a single point of access into the regulatory system enabling local businesses to obtain the advice and guidance they need from regulatory services in one place.
A single phone number providing access to the regulatory services is being trialled. By using this number, businesses will be able to ask for the advice or guidance they need, and receive the answer from the appropriate regulator without being passed from one organisation to another. The phone number is being trailled for 6 months. If the line proves to be successful and businesses gain some benefit from its existence then funding will be sought to extend the provision of the service.

Calls provided by BT will be charged at up to 8p per minute. Mobile and other provider's charges may vary and are more likely to cost more. Prices correct at time of going to print.
When visiting a business regulatory officers are now able to effectively signpost businesses to the correct source of advice or if necessary take ownership of a business's query whilst finding out the appropriate organisation to respond.
